We recently embarked on a humanitarian aid trip to the war zone, distributing essential aid to hundreds of families and individuals. A bomb-proof shelter was constructed by our charity, providing safe space during air raids. It includes a kitchen, medical room, sanitation unit, and large room with reversible beds accommodating 70 people at a time, providing water, internet, and light, ensuring safety against direct hits and debris, and saving lives. The shelter is crucial for extended stays as Russia continues to pose threats daily.
Our Aid trip revealed horrors for survivors in Prybirsk village nursing home, near Chernobyl exclusion zone, where Russian soldiers trapped 30 residents still suffering from radiation sickness without proper food, water, or heating. The Russians have left a trail of devastation in their wake.
Two villages were completely wiped off the face of the earth by air strikes, leaving hospital staff in shock. Prybirsk's care home was devastated, with residents suffering from organ dysfunction, and constant pain, many lost family members and were the first liquidators in the Chernobyl disaster.
We've transformed the Prybirsk into a real care home, purchasing specialized beds, bathing wheelchairs, and therapy equipment. We also purchased an ambulance to transport the patients to the capital, where they can get the highly specialized treatment they require.
Our charity priority now is the purchase of hospital equipment and medicines. Russia has launched a barrage of missiles hitting multiple institutions, including Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, targeting children undergoing cancer treatment. This tragedy calls for solidarity and support for the hospitals that desperately need help.
For the innocent victims of this brutal war, hope and self-dignity are often hard to find.
Thank you in advance for your co-operation and support.
Yours sincerely
