Gougane Sunday 2026
You are invited to join people from across the Diocese for Gougane Sunday on Sunday 27th September, when we gather to honour St Finbarr one of the Patrons of our Diocese.
For more than 1,400 years Gougane Barra has been a place of prayer and pilgrimage associated with St Finbarr.
Confessions will be available from 1.30pm, Rosary will be prayed at 2.30pm,
Mass at 3.00pm celebrated by Bishop Fintan Gavin.
All are welcome to join this special annual pilgrimage and to pray together for our Diocese, our families, our parishes and faith communities, and for the pastoral year ahead.
