The Matt Talbot Novena will begin on Monday 23rd February at 7.30 p.m. in The Way of the Cross, Church, Togher. The Celebrant and Preacher for the opening night is Fr. Dan Baragry C.Ss.R, Scala , Blackrock . More details will follow next week.
The Cork Regional Pioneer Council will hold their AGM on Wednesday 18th February at 8 p.m. in The SMA Wilton Parish Centre.

Maranatha 26
Maranatha is a full-day faith-based, high energy music event for young people from parishes across the diocese attending post-primary schools. Students from over half of our post-primary schools have been preparing for Maranatha 2026.
This cumulates in a concert in Cork City Hall on Thursday 26th February with over 500 young people singing together.
Maranatha was created to bring young people together to celebrate their faith through music and have fun at the same time.
Please support our young people by coming to this event. Tickets are €15 (plus booking fee) and are available to book on eventbrite.ie, search Maranatha. Doors open 7pm, with concert beginning at 7.30pm.

Totus Tuus 2026 Fatima Pilgrimage
The Totus Tuus annual pilgrimage to Fatima will take place from 28th August to 4th September
Learn about the Fatima Message, the Rosary, the First Saturdays, the lives of the three visionaries, and visit the tomb and home of Blessed Alexandrina Da Costa, who lived solely on the Eucharist for 13 years.
The cost is €915 which includes, flights, half board accommodation, airport transfers, day trip to Balasar, trip to Valinhos and Adjustrel, trip to the Irish Dominican Sisters' Convent.
There are places available to fly from Cork Airport, and also from Dublin Airport. Limited places are available.

Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund Annual Collection 2026
The annual collection for the Diocesan Sick/Assisted Lourdes Pilgrimage Fund will be taken up at all Masses on the weekend of 7th/8th February 2026.
The Cork and Ross Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes will take place from
Friday 18 September to Wednesday 23 September
People are encouraged to join the pilgrimage as helpers (male and female), nurses and doctors to assist pilgrims in Lourdes. Further information is available on the Cork and Ross Diocesan Website, by emailing:

A Mass animated by young adults takes place on the second Sunday of each month, with the next celebration on:

Hosted by the City Centre Family of Parishes, this Mass offers a welcoming space for young adults to gather, pray and grow in faith together. There will refreshments available after in the parish centre.

Cork Scripture 2026Formation in Faith for Young Adults
The Diocese of Cork and Ross, in collaboration with UCC Chaplaincy and the Presentation Brothers LEAF Project, is delighted to offer a new Formation in Faith programme for young adults (18–35 years).
The programme begins on
Wednesday, 28 January 2026
and will run for 9 weeks, from 5.45 to 8.00pm in Mardyke House, Cork (T12 W8RP).
Participants can choose between two concurrent pathways:
- Sycamore Formation Series: A video-based programme with guided group discussion on Catholic formation.
- Foundations in Theology: A lecture-based introduction to Catholic theology.
Each session begins with food and refreshments, and provide participants with an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussion.
